Classita Timetable (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the Classita Timetable mobile application (“App”). Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
By using Classita Timetable, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
- Information We Collect
1.1 Personal Information When you create an account or contact support, we collect:

Email Address: Required for account creation, authentication, and security via Firebase Authentication. We collect your Email during the registration process to perform Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) via link. This is used solely to verify your identity, secure your account, and prevent unauthorized access. We do not use your email for marketing purposes or share it with third-party advertisers.
•
Name (Optional): To personalize your profile.
•
Mobile Numbers: We collect your mobile phone number during the registration process to perform Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) via SMS. This is used solely to verify your identity, secure your account, and prevent unauthorized access. We do not use your mobile number for marketing purposes or share it with third-party advertisers.
Fraud Prevention: Your mobile number is linked with a unique identifier from your device to enforce our fair-usage policy (limiting a maximum of two accounts per physical device) and to protect the integrity of our 3-day free trial.

Device Information: We collect a unique identifier for your device (Firebase Installation ID). This is used solely to prevent fraudulent use of the trial period and to enforce our policy of a maximum of two accounts per physical device. This identifier does not allow us to identify you personally outside of the app.
1.2 Timetable and App Data To provide our core services, we process:

Timetable Files: We process CSV files uploaded by you. These files contain school schedules, teacher names, and subject names.
•
Manual Entries: Data you manually input, including subjects, teacher lists, and class structures.
•
Substitutions: Data regarding teacher absences and assigned substitutes.
1.3 Device and Technical Data We automatically collect certain technical information:

Device Information: Device model, OS version, and unique device identifiers.
•
Log Data: Information about when and how you use the App to help us troubleshoot bugs.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:

Authenticate your identity and provide secure account access.
•
Process and display your school timetables.
•
Generate substitution reports and PDF documents.
•
Provide customer support and resolve technical issues.
•
Manage your premium subscription and trial period.
•
Note: We do not sell or share your personal data or school data with third-party advertisers.
3. Data Storage and Security

Cloud Storage: We use Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Authentication) to store your account details and timetable data securely. This data is encrypted both in transit and at rest.
•
Local Storage: Certain data is stored locally on your device (using SharedPreferences and Internal Storage) to allow the App to function offline.
•
Security: We implement industry-standard security measures. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party providers who may collect data governed by their own privacy policies:

Google Play Services & Firebase: For authentication, database management, and app performance monitoring.
•
Google Play Billing / Apple App Store Billing: To process subscription payments. We do not see or store your credit card or bank details.

Service Providers: We use Firebase (a Google service) to facilitate SMS-based verification. By using this service, you acknowledge that your phone number will be shared with Google to provide the authentication service and to help Google improve their security and identity management services.
5. Files and Media Access
The App requires permission to access your device’s storage to:

Read CSV files you choose to upload.
•
Save generated PDF reports to your “Downloads” or “Documents” folder. We only access files explicitly selected or created by you.
6. Children’s Privacy
Classita Timetable is a tool designed for school administrators and teachers. It is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your data as long as your account is active. You have the right to delete your data at any time:
•
In-App Deletion: You can use the “Clear Data” features within the App settings.
•
Account Deletion: You may request full account and data deletion by emailing us. We will process these requests within 30 days.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of any changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
